What Coco-Scalp Ointment is used for and how it works

Coco-Scalp is for the treatment of dry scaly skin disorders of the scalp such as psoriasis, seborrhoeic dermatitis, dandruff and eczema.

It is a khaki coloured ointment

The active ingredients are Coal Tar Solution 12% w/w, Salicylic Acid 2% w/w and Sulfur-precipitated 4% w/w.

Coco-Scalp works by reducing the scaliness and irritation of the skin associated with dry scaly skin disorders. Coal tar and sulfur reduces inflammation of the skin and salicylic acid helps remove scale.
