Video: Vaccines – Dr Golly
Both Moderna and Pfizer are currently running trials for vaccines for kids under 12. For ages 12-15 both Moderner and Pfizer have been approved and are suitable.

The best vaccine for kids is the vaccine that’s available. So for 12- to 15-year-olds in Australia that’s the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. They’re probably about the same effectiveness in that age group.

In terms of younger children, only Pfizer has finished their clinical trial. At the time I’m speaking to you, and they are still awaiting approval for the drug.

But Moderna is also doing trials in younger children under 12, and it’s likely, again, the Moderna and Pfizer, there will not be much to choose between them.
